Butterfly valves from ARMATURY Group production halls will support green energy again
The company ARMATURY Group produced three pieces of butterfly valves with DN from 1 800 up to 2 000 for the Philippine hydroelectric power plant.
Butterfly valve L32.71 PN 10 and PN 6 will serve as shut-off valves to fully open or close the flow of the working medium in the pipeline.
GUGLER Water Turbinex GmbH has signed a contract with Kiangan Mini Hydro Corporation for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Francis turbines. The Francis turbine takes its name from James B. Francis, who developed this type of water turbine in 1849. Nowadays, these turbines are among the most used in the energy sector and are used to generate electricity in hydroelectric power plants.
The final destination is Philippines
It was for these Francis turbines that ARMATURY Group supplied its butterfly valves, which will be built into a hydroelectric power plant in the Philippines. The power plant is located near the Asin and Hungduan rivers. The working medium will be river water.
GUGLER Water Turbines GmbH is a leading supplier of state-of-the-art turbine technology, supplying all types of Francis, Kaplan and Pelton turbines and related electromechanical equipment for small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants.
