Hydrogen mission in the Netherlands shows the way
A business mission of Czech hydrogen technology suppliers to the Netherlands took place from 9 to 11 May 2023
The summit took place in Rotterdam, where this year 350 exhibitors from 108 countries presented themselves. ARMATURY Group was there!
Each year, the World Hydrogen Summit has a large international dimension and provides visitors with the opportunity to meet with leaders in the government and private hydrogen energy sectors. ARMATURY Group participated in the fair as part of a joint exhibition of five Czech companies under the auspices of CzechTrade. One of the co-exhibiting companies was Pražská plynárenská a.s., which is a long-term partner of ARMATURY Group in the field of valve supplies.
The business mission was divided into two parts. On the first day, the participants visited Gasunie, the largest gas company in the Netherlands and a leader in hydrogen technology in the Netherlands. Representatives of ARMATURY Group had the opportunity to present their hydrogen solutions and experience in supplying hydrogen valves to Gasunie's management. The programme also included a tour of the Gate Terminal at the Maasvlakte port in Rotterdam.
"Investment in hydrogen technology is gaining momentum, and Western Europe in particular, led by Germany and the Netherlands, is driving this strategy. All the countries of the European Union, including the Czech Republic, have developed their hydrogen strategy and set targets to be achieved in the 2030, 2040 and 2050 decades. Europe has high hopes for this, and we all have big things ahead of us in this area," says Petr Bolík, Sales Director for Western Europe at ARMATURY Group, of the developments in hydrogen technology.
The ARMATURY Group is highly experienced in the manufacture of valves for hydrogen applications, offering technical solutions for various sectors of production, transport and use of hydrogen or its products. High-quality valves are designed for direct hydrogen production by electrolysis, pyrolysis or methane cracking, but also for the production or storage of hydrogen in other forms, such as ammonia.
The company manufactures ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves in diameters from DN 50 to DN 2000 in its production halls using European materials. The proposed solutions ensure efficient and trouble-free operation for many years. Among the important customers of ARMATURY Group are gas and energy companies such as the already mentioned Pražská plynárenská, ČEZ, NET4GAS, RWE Gas Storage, Eustream, GAZ-SYSTEM and others.
