Jussi Vanhanen appointed new CEO of Vexve
The Board of Vexve has appointed Jussi Vanhanen (45) as the new CEO of Vexve commencing 1 May 2017. In connection with the appointment Jussi Vanhanen will make a significant investment in Vexve. Acting CEO Otto Kukkonen will take on the role of Vice Chairman of the Vexve board.

Jussi Vanhanen joins Vexve from Mondi Group, where he was CEO of the Fibre Packaging division since 2014. Jussi has previously been a Senior Advisor for The Boston Consulting Group and held numerous managerial positions at UPM-Kymmene including Head of Engineered Material Business Group. Vanhanen has also chaired the Board of Peikko Group, a Lahti-based family company, since 2014.

Vexve is a leading producer of district energy valve. Vexve was founded in 1960 and exports valves from its Finnish sites, Sastamala and Laitila, to over 30 countries. Vexve generated revenue of EUR 46 million and has circa 160 employees.
