Successful audit helped get API certificate again
American Petroleum Institute (API) is the largest U.S. trade association for the oil and natural gas industry.
API represents almost 600 companies involved in production, improvement and distribution in the oil and natural gas industry. The goal of the company in to promote safety across the industry globally and to influence public policy to support the strength of the U.S. oil and natural gas industry.
Company ARMATURY Group, which supplies ball valves for oil, petrochemical, and gas industries, must meet the requirements of API norms and standards. For this reason, a recertification audit was carried out in February 2021 to verify the conformity of the established process with the API Q1 specification (Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Manufacturing Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry) and the relevant product specification, in our case the API 6D Specification (Specification for Pipeline and Piping Valves).
Based on this audit, ARMATURY Group fulfill all requirements and get a new certificate with the effect until 9. July 2024. With this certificate, ARMATURY Group proves that it has an efficiency implemented quality management system and meets all requirements of the API Q1 specification designed for the oil and gas industry. Furthermore, this certificate entitles ARMATURY Group to use “API” sign on its ball valves, which confirms the high standard of internal processes ant provides customers with products of the highest quality!
