Central Finland Health Care District

Hospital Nova of Central Finland was the first central hospital in Finland to be built in the 21st century.

Hospital Nova of Central Finland, which is under construction in Jyväskylä and scheduled to be completed in 2020, is the first central hospital in Finland to be built in the 21st century.

The total area of the new hospital will be around 100,000 brm2. Most of the premises will be used by special health care services and a smaller share by primary health care services of the City of Jyväskylä.

The goal is to build an energy and life cycle efficient multi-purpose hospital. The latest technology has been utilised in the construction work, such as VR technology in the design of AC, heating, water and sewage systems.

Vexve's and Naval's shut-off and balancing valves were selected for the reliable and energy-efficient heating and cooling system. All the parties of the project have been satisfied with Vexve Oy's products.
