Last year, we started working with a new customer for whom we manufactured three valves for their blast furnace. Two of the valves were the standard DN 600 throttling butterfly valve and two-lever valve, while the third was the DN 1400 SNORT valve with a large external silencer.

This valve is one of the most critical valves in the blast furnace system, used for the cold air supply.
