Vexve’s ball and butterfly valves with actuators, as well as a small ball and condensate valves, are part of the Kaunas’ new cogeneration plant in Lithuania.
The quality of Vexve’s products and long-term experience in the field of district energy convinced all parties of the project.
The cogeneration plant is a joint project between Kauno Kogeneracine Jegaine (KKJ) and Fortum. The plant utilizes municipal energy waste in its energy production.
It’s electricity generation capacity is 24 MW and thermal capacity is about 70 MW. The CHP plant covers around 40% of the heat demand in Kaunas.
