The Syvälahti community centre in Hirvensalo in Turku, Finland, was executed as an alliance project by The City of Turku, Caverion, NCC and Verstas Architects.

In an alliance project, the project participants are responsible for project planning and execution in a joint organisation and share the risks related to the project.

The complex, which was completed in summer 2018, provides the inhabitants of the area extensive services in modern premises (school, day-care centre, library, youth services, child and maternity clinic, and school health service). The developer has given the building a joint five-year warranty, which is why the quality of the used products was of key importance.

The heating and cooling system of the community centre uses Vexve and Naval DN 65–150 shut-off and balancing valves, of which the developer already had previous good experiences. Thanks to good planning, expert technicians and the balancing valves by Vexve, the balancing of the heating and cooling system was successful on the first go.
